Library

Over the years the IBC Library has become renowned within IBC and even amongst other English-speaking churches in and around Brussels. It is an amazing treasure trove of valuable resources. Currently it contains 2,170 Christian books in English as well as music CDs and other items. Topics range from Apologetics to Women’s Ministry, and authors from A Kempis to Zscheck!

What’s more, thanks to the superb work of our librarian Jacques Willems, everything is incredibly well organized, with each item numbered, and all books are arranged alphabetically per section.

While many of the classic books are quite old and well-thumbed (although just as relevant as when first published), the Library constantly adds to its collection by purchasing new books as well as taking donations from members. Check out regular posts on our website for brief descriptions of new books added to the Library.

And finally, all books are loaned out without charge – a service which extends to IBC members and non-members alike.

Feel free to check out the Library. It’s open for 30 minutes after the end of the Sunday morning worship service. In the meantime, if you’re looking for a specific book, why not check out the catalog, either by author name or topic:

If you have any specific question about the IBC Library or are looking for a specific book, or if you have a recommendation for a book that is not in the current location, drop Jacques a line by completing the form below and he will get back to you as soon as he can:
