Just a few weeks ago we told you how Kelsey Brignola is off to Cyprus for a discipleship training course. Now we bring you news of her elder sister Joni, who on 31 January left Belgium to join the Gateways Beyond International community in Geneva, Switzerland. Until June 28 she will be involved in a discipleship training there. The program includes 12 weeks of teaching by international speakers, 2 weeks of traveling through Israel, and a 4-week outreach/mission trip.
21-year old Kelsey Brignola heads off soon to Gateways Beyond Training School (GTS) in Cyprus. In this article Kelsey explains what she will be doing there.
After reading her account, why not drop her a word of encouragement by adding a comment on the left?
Francoise Thonet wishes to share the following video, which was produced for the 2008 Willow Creek Leadership Summit. It is a powerful combination of images, music, and content that chronicles a young filmmaker’s journey through questioning God and eventually submitting to His call to minister to the lost world. We have also added some questions that you might like to think about, either individually or in your youth group, homegroup, Bible study group, family etc.
From the Pastor/Elder Roger Roberts ...
On August 26 & 27 the elders met together for an overnight retreat for a time of prayer, sharing, evaluating and planning. We enjoyed a sense of God’s presence, resulting in unity of thought and heart as we considered what God is doing at IBC Brussels and how we can join him in his work. During our recent members’ meeting the elders shared a statement of vision, mission and core values, which we believe to be a biblical perspective on who we are as IBC Brussels and a strategic guide for our priorities in ministry.
This post explains all the different ways you can read and listen to the sermons given by Pastor Roger Roberts and visiting preachers at IBC Brussels. It even includes tips how to download sermons onto your mp3 player.
It also includes a link to an interesting article on the best way (actually 6 best ways!) to listen to a sermon and get the most out of it.
