And let us consider how we may spur one another on toward love and good deeds, not giving up meeting together, as some are in the habit of doing, but encouraging one another—and all the more as you see the Day approaching. Hebrews 10:24-25
God created us to be in relationship with him and with others. For some of us this is natural, while for others it is an enduring struggle. After all, we live in times that promote individualism and self-reliance. Add to this the social restrictions of the coronavirus and more and more of us are losing our connectedness or feeling the stress of not being able to connect in ways we’ve been accustomed to in the past.
A Connect Group is a group of people that gather around a particular topic, electronically or in person, for the purpose of sharing life and building relationship. Connect Groups are organized around different interests, such as walking, books, flower arrangement, photography, cooking, parenting, outreach, you name it. Each Connect Group decides how to organize itself, when and how they come together. Connect Groups are open to all as means to build relationships and help us to be faithful witnesses of God’s love and truth in our communities.
