The Adversities of life: A Place for God’s Redeeming Love

The Center for Pastoral Counseling is organizing this conference in cooperation with IBC Brussels. The Conference will be in English with translation into Dutch.
In a fallen world adversities are normal. Where is God? Can He be there? A sense of God’s redeeming power in adversity enables us to walk well with Him in our own pains and care for others in their suffering. What did God create us for? For His glory? Or for our joy? Or for both? We are going to see how God is most glorified when we are most delighted in Him.
Speaker : Scott Shaum. Scott is the author of The Unsolicited Companion, God’s Shaping Is in His Love Through Life’s Adversities .
