New Baby Ministry

Whoever welcomes one of these little children in my name welcomes me; and whoever welcomes me does not welcome me but the one who sent me – Mark 9:37

Are you expecting a baby?

Baby Abel Brignola

Having a baby is a joyous occasion, but can also be a challenging time for you (and the father). IBC’s New Baby Ministry wants to support you practically and prayerfully during this time.

This includes praying for you, the father and the baby throughout the pregnancy, during labour and the first three months of the newborn’s life, as well as practical help if needed, such as accompanying you to a hospital appointment, advice on baby equipment, information on mums & toddlers groups etc.

Within a few days of giving birth, you and your baby will receive a visit in the hospital or at home, during which you will be given the church’s congratulations and a small gift on behalf of IBC.

We will also ensure that the happy event is announced by the pastor in church, and your new baby will be warmly welcomed on his/her first appearance at IBC.

Information can also be made available to you on the church’s Baby Class, the Parent-Baby Dedication Ceremony, and Mothers of Preschoolers (MOPS) – a monthly event to provide support for young mothers. If necessary, we will be happy to introduce you to the people in charge of these ministries.

If you would like IBC’s New Baby Ministry to support you in this way, complete the form below with your name, address, tel/email, and expected delivery date.

He tends his flock like a shepherd: He gathers the lambs in his arms and carries them close to his heart; he gently leads those that have young. – Isaiah 40:11
