Appointment the 3rd of June 2023 for the Heroes Race in the parc of Tervuren (close to IBC Brussels)!

Open Doors is the world’s largest outreach to persecuted Christians in the most high-risk places. You have most probably guessed that the “heroes” of the “Heroes Race” are not the runners, but those whose faith remains unshaken even when faced with severe persecution.

This year we will race 3, 5 or 10 km to build a clinic for our brothers and sisters from Nigeria, because if it is known about their Christian faith, they have no access to any clinic and they need our help. 

This project is worthy to run for, to get funds so that we can help Nigeria Christians with a Clinic. Remember we are not alone; we have a lot of brothers and sisters in Belgium and in France who are also willing to run for this clinic in Nigeria (project = 50.000 €) and above all He who gave His life for us will be with us all the time.  Even when He was on the cross, He taught us (sinners) and He commanded us to do the same: to give to others what we can, without expecting anything in return, just like Him.  He died to rescue us, to free us from sin and not to make us slaves because we were already slaves => slaves of Satan by sinning and doing earthly things which are detestable to our God Almighty.

I ask you to enroll as soon as possible in the Alvarum site for Open Doors in our IBC-group or the Open Doors Flanders group !  

After enrolling in the Alvarum site and after having made your personal Alvarum web-page, you are ready to send e-mails and to promote the Heroes Run to your family, friends and people you know to have at least 250 euros for the 6 Km running as Portes Ouvertes requires.  But even when you cannot have the 250 euros, you still can run with us, and you can also encourage friends to join us.  So enroll immediately and make our IBC-group of runners bigger !!!

Please enroll and try to be with Heroes runners before the end of next week.  We have only 2 weeks to gather funds for the race, so hurry to be enrolled and then send out your e-mails.
