Appointment the 1st of June 2024 for the Heroes Race in Boitsfort, Brussels
(not far away from IBC)

Open Doors is the world’s largest outreach to persecuted Christians in the most high-risk places. You have most probably guessed that the “heroes” of the “Heroes Race” are not the runners, but those whose faith remains unshaken even when faced with severe persecution.

This year we will race in the “Hippodroom van Bosvoorde” or “Hippodrome de Boitsfort” (address: Terhulpensesteenweg / Chaussée de la Hulpe ) to run 3, 5 or 10 km to finance de services of a post-traumatic center in Ethiopia, because of all the pressure and problems our brothers and sisters in Christ experience and Open Doors want to make this center working well for our persecuted Christian family. When their Christian faith is known they have problems and are attacked, so they need our help. ➔ This project is worthy to run for, to get funds so that we can help Ethiopian Christians with the service of a post-traumatic center. =➔

After enrolling in the Alvarum site and after having made your personal Alvarum webpage, you are ready to send E-mails, and to promote the Heroes Run to your family, friends and people you know to have at least 250 euros for the 3 – 5 or 10 Km running as Portes Ouvertes requires.

But even when you cannot have the 250 euros,you still can run with us, and you can also encourage friends to join us. So enroll immediately and make our IBC-group of runners bigger !!

Please enroll and try to be with Heroes runners before the end of next week. We have only 6 weeks to gather funds for the race, so hurry to be enrolled and then send out your E-mails.

For those who will sponsor the runners, please do it before the 31st of Mai 2024.
