A lovely memorial service for Paz Corpuz took place at our church on Sunday 13 November. It included wonderful testimonies and memories of Paz by family and friends, some of her favorite hymns, and an inspiring message by Pastor Roger Roberts.
Paz (Fausta) Corpuz was fatally injured in a traffic accident in Knokke-Heist on Tuesday 1 November.
I am really sad to hear of the passing of Paz. She welcomed me during my posting in brussels, she really took care of me and my two kids, she was like a sister to me. To think that i hv been trying to get hold of her the whole of last year, little did i know she went. My condolensces go to her family, may her soul rest in peace.

What a beautiful person. I am so glad I got to meet her when she came to Ohio to visit her sister & to talk to her on line. God is taking care of her now. I will keep her family in my prayers. She was so full of life. So, so sad.

I’m really surprised at the news and sorry for her and all others. I haven’t been in touch with her for a long time. She was very kind to me as well as all other people in the church when I was in Brussels three years ago. I don’t know what to say, but feel deeply sorry and pray for her and people left behind her.

Praying for Leo and especially Jayson, Justin and Janine. This news has been such a shock for us, I can’t even imagine how they must feel. Lord, please surround them and all friends and family with your love, comfort and warm embrace. Fill them with the peace of knowing that Paz is with you in a far better place where all sorrow and pain are gone and that one day we will see her again!
I haven’t known her personally but this is unbelievable to realise that your mum will never come back home on this earth!
Lord to whom shall we go? You alone oh Lord has Words and ways to comfort this family..
So to You we lift up our eyes, our help comes from You and You alone!
United in Him who cares and loves and knows us best.
May we be united as one family in this undescribable hard and difficult period!
We have not only lost a very special friend but also a part of our family. Paz was with us since 1985; she was like a younger sister to me and a second mother to our children. I still can’t fathom it! Pease pray especially for Janine – she is in total shock
May God support our sister’s children and loved ones during this time. We in the homegroup are praying for you.
Sandy and I wish to extend our own prayers and condolences to her children and Leo. She was a dear friend with a warm heart and a wonderful smile of greeting for us the entire time we were in Belgium.

I am in shock! I can’t believe she’s gone! May her soul rest in eternal peace!
We will remember her in our prayers. It is sad for the children. We are a family in IBC and can give them comfort on behalf of the church. And we trust God will guide and take care of the family. May her soul rest in peace. Our sister is safe in God’s Hands. We are Christians and we know she has gone home to her everlasting Father. Amen
